MULTIMEDIA OFFICER

  • Job Description


    Overall Purpose
    To be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering high-impact visual and audiovisual content that supports the organization’s communication goals. This includes creating graphics, producing videos, and managing live streaming setups for events, campaigns, and digital platforms.



    Key Responsibilities 

    1 Design engaging visual content for print, digital, and social media platforms (flyers, infographics, banners, reports, presentations). 

    2 Ensure brand consistency across all visual materials. 

    3 Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content (e.g., interviews, documentaries, promotional videos, training content). 

    4 Manage post-production workflows including colour grading, sound mixing, and motion graphics. 

    5 Set up and operate live streaming environments for webinars, conferences, and hybrid events. 

    6 Optimize live stream quality including audio/video synchronization, lighting, and internet stability. 

    7 Coordinate with external vendors or tech support as needed. 

    8 Maintain organized archives of digital assets, including video footage, design files, and templates. 

    9 Manage software and hardware inventory relevant to multimedia production. 

    10 Work closely with marketing, communications, and IT teams to brainstorm and execute multimedia strategies. 

    11 Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend innovative tools or techniques. 

    12 Any other duties assigned

     

    Personal Specification e.g. competencies, knowledge, experience required 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Graphic Design, Communication, or related field. 

    • Proven experience in graphic design and video production (portfolio required). 

    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects). 

    • Working knowledge of live streaming platforms and software (e.g., OBS Studio, vMix, StreamYard). 

    • Familiarity with audio/visual equipment setup: cameras, microphones, switchers, mixers, lighting. 

    • Strong creative, visual, and storytelling skills. 

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. 

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

    • A keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.

    • Experience with animation and motion graphics is a plus. 

    • Willingness to travel and support onsite events occasionally
