Overall Purpose
Will play a central role in designing, coordinating, and executing all community-facing events and initiatives under the HR Focus Universe brand. This includes physical and digital events, activations, and engagement experiences that bring the HR community together. The role combines event management, vendor coordination, and community-building to strengthen the HR Focus Universe brand across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1 Plan, coordinate, and execute all HR Focus Universe events and activations, including conferences, networking mixers, forums, and pop-ups.
2 Lead the end-to-end project management of events — from conceptualization to execution and post-event evaluation.
3 Manage vendor sourcing, negotiations, contracts, and on-site coordination to ensure quality service delivery and value for money.
4 Drive community engagement across events, social platforms, and online forums, ensuring continuous interaction and participation.
5 Develop and implement a calendar of strategic engagement activities that align with HR Focus Universe’s goals.
6 Liaise with the Business Development team to identify sponsorship opportunities and support partnership activation at events.
7 Design and implement communication and marketing campaigns to drive attendance, participation, and brand awareness.
8 Create and manage event-related content across HR Focus social media, website, and email platforms.
9 Serve as a primary liaison for vendors, sponsors, partners, and community members, ensuring smooth collaboration and strong relationships.
10 Monitor, analyze, and report on event performance and community engagement metrics, providing insights for improvement.
11 Stay updated on HR trends, event innovations, and community management practices to improve strategy and execution.
Required Skills, Qualification& Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in organizing and managing large and small-scale events.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage communities, both online and in-person.
• Experience working with vendors, managing contracts, and negotiating for services.
• Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities with an eye for detail.
• Comfortable using digital tools for event promotion, registration, and feedback collection.
• Social media savvy with the ability to manage brand accounts and create engaging content.
• High level of creativity, initiative, and enthusiasm for creating memorable experiences.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
